Welcome to my Blog...I am sooo excited to share my views, reviews, and point of views with you guys. I know that sounded a little corny but I can be a little quirky at times...did I mention that I am E-X-C-I-T-E-D!
Well starting Thursday, December 8th, 2011...get ready because I will be doing my first blog entry about one of my many obsessions - MAKEUP! WhooHoo!!!!
Well I gotta get ready for bed now but I can't wait to get blogging with you guys!
BLOG-GO! (Don't steal my salutation...lbvs!)

Hey Natalie. I ran across your link on facebook and I would love to see what information you have on hair because that's my obsession.
ReplyDeleteMelissa
My question to you is what makeup do you use. I use Iman but don't know if its the right choice for me.
ReplyDeleteMelissa814 - Sorry for getting back to you so late but to reply to your first statement regarding my information on hair...I want you to stay tuned becuase I believe I am the queen of illusions, simplicity, affordability and versatility when it comes to hair without breaking the bank. I must let you and everyone else know that I do not have a license or certification I am strictly what you would call a "Kitchen Beautician".
ReplyDeleteI will also be posting tutorials and step by step instructions from some of my favorite peeps.
Melissa814 - Reply to Iman Makeup choice question.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you ask regarding that question regarding Iman Cosmetics. I am currently using Iman's Oil Blotting Pressed Powder in shade light/medium on top of Revlon Color Stay in shade caramel.
I must admit the only reason I switched to both the above mentioned products is because I ran out of Mary Kay oil free medium coverage foundation is shade 500. I am a Mary Kay Consultant and I have to place a fairly large order to reinstate my account and to date has not done so (sorry for the rambling).
I honestly don't know changed since the first time I purchased the Iman product (currently on second compact) but I am not happy at all...for some reason the compact that I currently have has too much of a red undertone and by the end of the day I am looking like I have been locked in somebodys tanning bed/booth from the neck up.
I am quite disappointed and don't know what's going on with the formula and will not be purchasing another powder. I bought this product soley based on the rants and raves of Iman Cosmetic line due to the range of colors available for different skin tones.
It looks like I will have to suck it up and place my order with Mary Kay...once I do I will let you know and send you some samples to try. I will get little more in depth about makeup...it looks like I am going to have to go back to MAC or either place a Mary Kay order with someone else until I get a decent amount of orders to place myself. I must admit the i'm iffy about MAC too and don't think it works well with my sensitive skin to wear it everyday...tends to clog up my pores.
I am content with Revlon ColorStay foundation (liquid) for now...it's just that their pressed powders are tricky when finding your correct shade. So far I have bought two pressed powders to place on top of my foundation and both shades have been to light for my skin tone so I ended up using them for highlighters and as a form of concealer.
