Savvy Femme Couture

Let's see...where do I begin - well to make a long story short my son decided that he was going to oil himself and the carpet with my cuticle oil so I had to make a made dash to my local Sally's Beauty Supply to grab another bottle and also a few other things and I notice that they had marked down polishes for $1.99.

I really wanted the China Glaze Magnetic Polishes but the sales clerk informed me that they would not be getting them at that particular store which kind of ticked me off but I found them cheaper online at www.Transdesign.com; well anyway enough rambling I bought two colors and decided to swatch them the same night (www.bored.com).

For a $1.99 its just ok...I would rather had spent the money on SinfulColors but hey it is what it is.  The two colors I picked up are Cool Beige (left) and Party Pink(right).

I wasn't too happy with the formula of this polish it was very streaky and I had to literally wait approx. 10 minutes to apply a second coat without the polish looking to thick.  Overall I love the color - its a nice neutral color with a hint of shimmer and would be great for a gradient leopard print mani or worn alone.  I think I wanna add a little polish thinner to it...for better application.

Party Pink - the name describes the color...I love this shade of pink, it goes really well on my skin tone.  I like it soo much that i'm forgiving on the fact that the formula was thin and a little runny but overall its not bad.  I applied two coats and didn't have the same drying issues I had with Cool Beige.  I'm excited to see how well this would work in the water for a water marble mani???

Overall i'm happy with the color choices but don't think its a brand I will be purchasing again in the future.
